By identifying and supporting the organisations that reflect our vision, values and corporate objectives, we can build strong and lasting relationships with our many stakeholders, including customers, industry, and the wider community in which we operate.
Check out some of our previous partnerships below:
Australia's CEO Challenge
We are committed to a two-year partnership with Australia's CEO Challenge and to establishing a workplace program at Unitywater that involves training and awareness around domestic violence.
In 2014 our CEO, George Theo took part in Australia's CEO Challenge Race to support victims of domestic violence. Throughout the year, Unitywater reached out to 943,608 people and raised nearly $17,000.

We have an ongoing partnership with Australia Zoo to feed sick and injured koalas at their wildlife hospital by allowing them to harvest mature eucalypt trees growing at our facilities.
We also run Get Back to Tap for Turtles – a joint initiative with Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors – to educate local schools and the public about the negative impacts of plastic water bottle waste, and benefits of drinking tap water. In 2014, we raised $10,000 for the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital to go towards their turtle rehabilitation program.

Unitywater and the University of the Sunshine Coast work together to benefit the Coast’s students by supporting their tertiary education and providing local opportunities to kick-start their careers.
These include a new Unitywater Scholarship in Engineering, paid vacation work for students at Unitywater, and an entry pathway into Unitywater’s Graduate Program.

Qldwater on tap
We have partnered with qldwater on tap, a campaign initiated by the Queensland Water Directorate (qldwater) to promote the quality of drinking water in Queensland and its important role in our community.
To support the campaign and its aim to promote tap water, we have developed our Community Hydration Station, a water trailer designed to provide fresh tap water at local events.

By partnering with our participating councils and local community and bushcare groups we plant native seedlings along the banks of our local waterways. Through increasing the vegetation we are improving the water quality entering our rivers.
The most recent Creekside Greening event was held at the Maleny Community Precinct on 14 June 2016.
