Investing in our service region

Unitywater operates in one of the fastest growing regions of Australia, providing essential water supply and sewerage services to more than 16% of Queensland’s population.

We are looking to address population growth and service needs to benefit communities now and into the future and investing around $1.131 billion* in water and sewerage infrastructure for the future.

Unitywater is committed to protecting and enhancing the environment in which we operate, mindful of the positive impact we can have on creating sustainable livability in our region.

We will continue to upgrade and invest in water supply and sewerage infrastructure projects in ways that keep us at the forefront of environmental practices and meet the challenges of flood risk, population growth and climate change.

*Investment figure is for period 2021-22 to 2025-26
